From May 31st to June 6th, I will join over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
In training for this event, my team, South Bay Blaze and I will ride over 2,500 miles and spend hundreds of hours on our trusty bikes. Over the course of 7 days in early June, we will ride somewhere between 40 and 110 miles per day (average 78), climb over 23,000 feet and roll into LA on my birthday, June 6.
I'm told it will all be worth it. I'm told that it will be a life-changing event. The funds that we raise will certainly change the lives of those in need with the services that they provide.
And so, it is with faith in that promise that I give you my heartfelt thanks for visiting my page. Please consider joining my journey and sponsoring me on this challenge in 2020!
