On December 28, 2013, I found out I was living with HIV. I was terrified, angry and sad and did not know how to move forward. I thought it was a life sentence.
Little did I know, it was the complete opposite, and I decided to embrace living with HIV and share my story. I ran the Chicago Marathon and fundraised for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Shortly after, I started to share my story with friends and family and with local storytelling events in Chicago.
I'm excited to continue my journey in supporting the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
The services provided as a result of my fundraising efforts mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We're working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
