I am honored to be one of the Co-Captains of the AIDS LifeCycle TogetheRide for Team Gilead this year. The AIDS Lifecycle is a seven-day, 545-mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that typically takes place every year in June, but is a virtual event this year. Participants train and fundraise all year in support of the SF AIDS Foundation and Los Angeles LGBT Center. It has been an integral part of the philanthropic spirit of Gilead for the past 8 years, with Gilead Team members raising over $1,000,000 in donations.
TogetheRide is a community-wide cycling challenge that is bringing people together, even when we're physically apart. Thousands of people are joining TogetheRide with a goal of logging 1.2 million miles and raising $5,000,000 in critical funds to support the work of the LA LGBT Center and SF AIDS Foundation and create awareness about HIV/AIDS.
The goal of 1.2 million miles represents a mile for each person living with HIV in the US today.
I’m excited to continue my journey in supporting the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. The services provided as a result of my fundraising efforts mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
